DNREC maintains an EQuIS 5 Professional database that is used to store and analyze both field and laboratory data generated from sites within our program. Environmental data is uploaded to the database via an electronic data deliverables (EDDs). DNREC’s EDD format is based on the format of surrounding EPA Regions and states. (Currently, DNREC-Site Investigation and Remediation Branch is conducting a pilot test of the EDD submittal process with a few data providers.)
Data providers should download the EQuIS Data Processor (EDP) to check their EDDs for errors prior to submittal to DNREC. The EDP with the DNREC format can be downloaded. Please request a registration key for EDP from EarthSoft, Inc. by filing out the DNREC Format for EDP registration form. To utilize EDP, data providers will need the most up-to-date DNREC format files and reference value file. Please check this webpage for the most recent DNREC format files.
