Indicate whether the used oil has been tested. Note that the Department will require that a sample of the used oil be analyzed by an independent laboratory before issuing an operating permit for a used oil heater. The analysis must be conducted in accordance with EPA SW-846 or appropriate ASTM Methods. At a minimum, the analysis shall report the following: arsenic concentration in ppm, cadmium concentration in ppm, chromium concentration in ppm, lead concentration in ppm, the flash point (°F), total halogen concentration in ppm, and percent sulfur by weight.
