Several branches within the Division of Air and Waste Management have sampling requirements for site assessment or characterization, hazard assessment, air quality assessment, site closure, demonstration of compliance, or handling, disposal and cleanup of hazardous materials and substances. The branches include the Tank Management Branch, the Solid & Hazardous Waste Management Branch, the Site Investigation and Restoration Branch, the Air Quality Management Section, and the Emergency Prevention and Response Branch.
