Refineries throughout the area have switched from adding methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) to their gasoline products to adding ethanol or E10 gasoline in May 2006. DNREC issued an advisory to gas station owners and operators to inform them of steps they should take prior to storing and selling ethanol products in Delaware.
